They were installed in Garam on the 16th of April, 2021 in the presence of the sisters. 

The team will serve the Region for three years but they were one year in April this 

year. Which means they have two more years to serve the Region. 

 

 

 

Sr. Kelechi Ifoegbu is from Abia State which is in the Eastern part of Nigeria. She 

took her first Vows in November 2009 and after her first profession, she was sent to 

Angel Guardian Home Mgbele where she worked with our children until 2013. In the 

year 2013, she went to Kenya for a formation course which lasted for one year. when 

she returned back to Nigeria, she took over the formation work, that is the training of 

those who want to be Sister. She did this work until 2021 when she became the 

Regional Superior. She lives in Garam, Niger State. 

 

 

 

Sr Emelda Chia is a Cameroonian but she has been in Nigeria for some years. She 

took her first Vows in January 2012. After her profession, she worked in Angel 

Guardian Home Mgbele before she was transferred to the Formation House in 

Garam. She is presently the Community leader of Ifetedo community and lives there. 

Ifetedo is in Osun State which is in the Western part of Nigeria. She is also the 

Regional Vicar. 

 

 

 

Sr Salem Bisong is from Cross- River State which is in the Southern part of Nigeria. 

She took her first Vows in March 2017. After her profession, she worked in Poor 

Handmaids of Jesus Christ Secondary School Azhi Kasa for some time before she 

was transferred to Osun State. While in Osun State, she was the Head Teacher of St 

Theresa’s Catholic Nursery & Primary School IIobu which is a diocesan school. She 

was transferred to Mgbele in March, 2022. She is presently the Community leader of 

Mgbele community where she lives. She is also the Head Teacher of Gioja Nursery 

& Primary School Mgbele and a Regional Councilor. 

 

 

 

Sr Maryann Osaroejii is from Rivers State which is in the Southern part of Nigeria. 

She took her first Vows in June 2016. After her first profession, she was sent to Angel 

Guardian Home Mgbele where she worked with our children until March, 2022 when 

she was transferred to Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ Secondary School Azhi Kasa. 

She is presently the Principal of Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ Secondary School 

Azhi Kasa in Niger State and a Regional Councilor and she lives in Azhi Kasa, Niger 

State.
